It is believed that
the first settlers were Niquiranos land of Masaya and aware of the settlements
of populations as Nindirí, Monimbó Niquinohomo or before the Spanish conquest. One of the main districts of the city
is to Monimbó (in Spanish means "near water") and is located close to
the lake. Chorotegas groups also
