This town has its history, long before its
incorporation as a township of the municipality of Rio Negro. The first settler
of this land was called Sunday Meneses who arrived with his wife and children
and a few laborers, and built his house on the lake that existed at that time
in the area between races 6 and 7 and 12th and 14th Streets where human
settlement exists today called "Barrio the ducklings."
The exact site where it was built that home
is where today is the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses as he told don
