The territory of San Antero, first settlers had as a
group of indigenous Finzenú belonging to the culture Zenú and the Carib
linguistic family, they inhabited the territory that today makes up the town
Township, Bay Cispatá and the banks and mouth of the Sinu River .By then Cispatá Bay and surrounding area, its position became
a zone of confluence of ethnic and cultural exchanges, so that when the first
conquerors arrived, they did temporarily for this region, finding a group of
people peaceful and deep indigenous traditions.
