There are several versions about the
founding of the Municipality of Swirl, but documents in the notary Township
Mompox, it is confirmed that Whirlpool was founded in the year 1768 by Don José
Joaquín Zúñiga, and similarly argues that the first name this was the San
Andrés Swirl, however, it is necessary to organize a thorough investigation not
