land routes
Talca is connected with the rest of the country by
the Panamerican Highway (Route 5), her distant by about 255 km south of
Santiago .This road crosses the city in the form of underground trench
highway since 1992.
From Talca partly International Route CH-115,
which connects with the Maule Region Malarg�e , in the province of
Mendoza , Argentina .Talca is also the starting point of Route K-60, to
Curepto and Licant�n , and other secondary roads to the neighboring
towns of Maule and Colin.
Railway
For Talca crosses the
railway of Enterprise State Railways (EFE). The Talca railway station ,
built in 1875, rebuilt in 1929 and unusable since the 2010 earthquake,
is served by mainline TerraSur.
From Talca also extends the Service
Regional Talca-Constitution , a railway branch along the Maule river for
89 miles until it ends in the coastal city constitution . This National
Monument was built between 1886 and 1915, and is the last leg of Chile
currently operating rail for transporting passengers.

Buses
The
road transportation is covered by two terminals, both located in the
eastern sector of the city: the bus station Varoli Lorenzo Gherardi,
with intercity destinations to Santiago, Rancagua, Curico, Chillan
Concepcion, Temuco and other cities and rural services such as Linares ,
Maule, Constitution, among other destinations Pelarco and Tur-Bus
terminal, which serves the fleet of this company.
Air
Talca has Panguilemo Airfield, in this town, 10 km north of the city, next to the Panamerican Highway.
