Culture and art: works carved in wood, straw, leather, ceramics, and
precious artifacts Renda de Bilro (Bobbin-lacet) Filet-Lacet (threaded-lacet)
and colorful hammocks. The dance company, the band, storytellers and folk
artists give luster to this land, with exhibitions and events in town squares.
Events: known as the gayest city in the West Coast! Carnival and New Year,
holidays of June and in November the anniversary of the city with the
traditional race Jangadas (traditional boats) which are part of the tourist
