Every summer, Vicksburg plays host to the
Miss Mississippi Pageant and Parade, and every summer the Vicksburg Homecoming
Benevolent Club hosts a homecoming weekend/reunion and provides scholarships to
graduating high school seniors. Former residents from across the country return
for the event
