The city of Kasserine is connected to surrounding cities by a network of buses , of louages and taxis which continues to develop in order to ensure smooth movement of people. TheNational Society of intercity transportation provides two connections per day, throughout the week, with Tunis via Kairouan or Le Kef . As the Company's regional transportation Kasserine, it liaises with Le Kef, Kairouan , Sousse , Sfax and Gafsa . Louages serving lines Kairouan, Tunis, Gafsa, Gabes , Sfax, Sousse and Le Kef. There is also a large network of provincial taxis called Nakel Rifi  , they are transformed into fortunes vans minibuses that serve as a bridge between the city and the surrounding villages.

Kasserine is served by a railway line, built in 1940 by the French government, which had formerly a strategic interest.
