Changnyeong is called a
cultural treasure because of its historical importance and its lively cultural
activities. It also features Upo Marsh, the largest of its kind in Korea where
great variety of animals and plants live. It is often the site for nature
surveys. Besides these attractions, there is also Mt. Hwawangsan which is
famous for its jindallae flower and Eok bird.
