The easiest way to get to Cozumel is to fly directly into Cozumel's international airport. The only way to get from the Cozumel airport to your home is either via an airport van or via a rental car. The airports vans charge a per-person rate that varies depending on where the home is located. We can't personally transport you; regulations forbid unauthorized third parties from making transfers. Nor are taxis allowed to make pickups at the airport - only drop-offs.
Getting to Cozumel from Cancun is easy. You can go by land transportation to Playa del Carmen and then take the ferry to Cozumel. (There currently are no scheduled flights from Cancun Airport to the Cozumel Airport.)
You can take a cab, a bus, or a combi (minivan) to Playa del Carmen and from there take the the ferry to Cozumel. The cabs and mini buses are parked in various lots in front of the terminal. Cabs can generally accommodate no more than 4 guests. Minibuses can usually take up to 10 guests.
The bus service is called Riviera Bus Line. It's located at opposite end of the terminal from the arrivals section. So, when you leave the terminal, take a right and head all the way to the other end of the terminal. Go through the last set of doors marked "Llegadas Nacionales" (domestic arrivals). As soon as you go through the doors take another right and you will see a ticket window for the bus. When your re-exit the terminal go turn right and go to the parking lot there. That is where the Riviera bus will board. It's hard to miss since it will be the only bus there. Last time we checked the fare was 65 pesos
