No document exists on Gede, the only archaeological traces are. Excavations began in 1948 and revealed that the city was a city of Muslim merchants who were in relationship with the world. There were found various artifacts, beads glass Venice , parts of Ming vases , lamps metal Indian , scissors of Spain . The ruins are now a popular tourist site
