Rewari which is 16 km (9.9 mi) East from Samastipur is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh, Nandi and Thakurji.This place is famous for shiva &sakti influence.It has an old tradition of folk songs and famous mithila paintings sung & done during festival and social occasions like marriage & birth ceremonies. several folk dance form as Kathghorwa nach, natua nach, dom domin jhijhia sama chakeva &dom kach is also practised as a culture in this area
