Rishikesh climate is continental type, but the weather is pleasant as Rishikesh located at the foothills providing cool breeze. The best time to visit is from mid September to April.
• Winter (October to February) are pleasant with a temperature range of 19°C to 27°C and is good for enjoying sightseeing and rafting.
• Summer (March to June) have an average temperature of 35°C and the weather is cool and comfortable. Months like May and June are the hottest and are best avoided.
• Monsoon offer average rainfalls during July to September.
Rishikesh is a beautiful city which has hot summers and cold winters. Basant Panchami, the spring festival, is celebrated here with much gaiety and enjoyment during February-March.
