Zetaquira's economy is based on
agricultural production highlighting the growing of coffee , bananas , sugar
cane , beans and sisal as well as fruit pitahaya ,blackberry , tree
tomato , Chamba, citrus , cocoa , among others. Derivatives
are also produced milk like cheese , accompanied by the
raising of cattle and swine
