The ethnic Indian senufanáes ,
belonging to the great empire Zenú , was originally inhabited these
lands. During the expedition known Jorge Robledo in these
regions in Antioquia, by las vegas Cauca River northward, back in 1561 ,
the Spanish conquistadors found three principal chiefs: Bolombolo , Popala and Sinifaná . Even
today in the district are countless indigenous remains and memories of great
