Economy of Ubate

In the Valley of Ubaté's an important development of the livestock (especially vaccine) and agriculture (grown cold weather products such as potatoes and corn). Ubaté contributes about 19% of milk production in the region with 70,830 L per day, and sells a volume close to 50% of total production. The cattle population is particularly focused on the Holstein breed . The town has received the title of the Dairy Capital of Colombia
