Around 1960, the concession and facilities were taken over by Ecopetrol, who uses them with Mobil and Esso for the reverse process, the import of crude. As this less complex and lower volume, Ecopetrol gave much of the land for the facility of the Navy, who organized in 1974, a training center and an Infantry NCO School.
