The city of Santa Cruz de Lorica,
municipality of Córdoba, is located in the northern portion of the department
of Córdoba and the lowest area of the Sinu River , very close to the Caribbean
Sea .It ranks second in importance after the capital city, so the
population (128,507 people according to the 2005 census), economic potential
and development in general.
Named after the chief of the L `Orica Zenúes dwelling Indians
and ruled the region in the eighteenth century.
