Economy of San Vicente de Chucuri

San Vicente de Chucuri is the municipality with the highest production of cocoa in the department of Santander and also the largest producer throughout Colombia . This product represents 60% of total municipal agricultural production from their land (7,000 tons).

The sobrasalientes paths in cultivation are: Llana Cold being the largest producer, Santa Ines, La Esmeralda, Campo Hermoso, Mérida, El Centro, Palestine, New World Guadual, The Lion, Ceibal, Aguablanca, The Pertrecho, Hope
