Jesuits, grouped the
scattered settlers living in the area, who taught various techniques of
cultivation and Catholic traditions. It was then established on 13
November 1650 a settlement was part of the municipality of Mahates and Jesuit
named in honor of then Blessed Stanislaus Kostka
