San Benito Abad is located south of the
department of Sucre, on the west bank of the St. George and the Swamp Machado. Limits
the north with the Sucre municipality of El Roble and Galeras on the south by
the Department of Córdoba (Municipality Ayapel) west by the Department of
Córdoba (Municipality Chinú ) and the Sucre municipality of Caimito and San
Marcos . East with the Bolívar Department (Municipality Magangué ) and the
Sucre municipality of Sucre and Majagual
