The economy is based on the production of raw
materials with principal activities in the livestock, agriculture and forestry.The most important of these is the raising of cattle,
with a second place in agricultural production and thirdly the forestry.Other activities are aimed at emerging and self-supply
needs like, commerce and public services.
The distribution of
land use for livestock contributes 37% and agriculture 16%, which generate
about 60%
