To date the festivities of San Murindó
engaged Bartholomew the Apostle, as the first village that was founded there
took the name of Saint Barthelemy Murindó. The year that has as an officer for
the initial foundation of the town is 1835. It is considered as its founder Don
Juan Paulino Salazar. Community has suffered repeatedly changes its
geographical, political and administrative status, so other versions indicate
