Cumaral Township has in agriculture based
economy and a major source of employment generation. Due to the varied
topography of the territory, we find different types of farms, Livestock
predominates in the livestock sector with a cattle population of 52,300 animals
and crops of rice and African palm in the agricultural sector, 4493 and 5750
hectares respectively . It is clear technological leadership of the
exploitation of African palm, finding in our territory two companies engaged in
cultivation and processing it.
