The municipality is
located at a point indicating the boundary between three provinces of
department: García Rovira, Soto and Guanentá. Bordered Santa Barbara and guaca the north, Curití the south,
San Andrés in the east, and Aratoca and Piedecuesta by the West. It covers an area of 139km ² and is located near the
Chicamocha river and creeks and Perchiquez guaca
