specific purchasing department; engine turbines were imported for U.S. $ 47.6
million electric generators and motors for $ 17 million.
They have subsequently decreased and
stabilized, in the period between 1999 and 2003, the average purchasing
department were close to $ 14 million annually.
Imports by the Boyacá department are
not representative for the total imports from Colombia.
In 1993-2003 average, purchases made
by the department
represented 0.2% of the national total.
