This town has a file on your council since 1690 and
its protocols on notice since 1668 .The
city received the name "Santa Ana
de los Caballeros," "Villa de San Juan", "Anserma"
and finally "Ansermanuevo"
had three different locations in the course of the centuries: in the valley of
Guarama in where it was founded, then was in the same place now occupied Anserma
( Caldas ) and then in the place where today is located.
