Jingdezhen has a four-season, monsoon-influenced, humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cfa), with somewhat brief, cool and damp winters, and long, very hot and humid summers. Extreme maximum temperatures of above 40 °C (104 °F) have been recorded, as have extreme minimums below −5 °C (23 °F)
