of Kłodzko Land, before 1945 a population of ethnic Czechs lived in
Kudowa-Zdrój (then Bad Kudowa). Small groups of Germans and Czechs continued to
live in Kudowa until 1960, and a German school and a Czech-speaking school
existed in the town from 1951–1960 and from 1947-1955
