Holy Week - date varies

It is commemorated by Catholic Dasmarineños with street processions, the Way of the Cross, and a Passion play called the Sinakulo. The Church keeps the day solemn by not tolling the church bells, and no mass will be celebrated.

Gawad Karangalan - date varies

It is an annual project of the City Government of Dasmariñas that recognizes the academic and personal achievements of outstanding Dasmarineño students in the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels.

Nutrition Month - July

The Tanim Lusog Program is a backyard gardening contest for the nutritionally depressed barangays with highest number of underweight children. This program spearheaded by the City Nutrition Council aims to teach families and communities the food production technology suited to their environment. Lectures on meal management, health care practices and related activities are also given to address the incidence of hunger and malnutrition. The contest has two categories: the home garden and community garden.

Dasmariñas Day - October 5

It has been a meaningful tradition of the City Government of Dasmariñas to sponsor a flower offering to commemorate Dasmariñas Day on October 5. This important activity pays tribute our local heroes who gallantly served the town of Dasmariñas consequently paving the way to our success as a city today.
