The main mountain elevations protruding in the municipality are: Sierra El Quiragua, Paipí Cerro, Cerro El Destino, Cerro El Bijagual.
The deterioration of the watershed is largely due to deforestation of the many mountains as a municipality possessed, with a high rate of deforestation, the town has lost many rivers, which in the summer and do not run on their causes, but that stays completely dry rainy season waiting to fill their watersheds.
