The land is devoted mainly to pasture for livestock development and semiannual cash crops, making these activities generate the highest family income. Yaguará depends on other municipalities as Neiva, and Teruel Iquira not produce food for subsistence crops.

Within the agricultural products are: rice irrigation achira, Guanabano, cacao, corn, pancoger. Livestock is mainly using extensive type crossing zebu - Brown-Swiss - and Creole.

Grasses mostly natural, 23,050 hectares correspond to 96.6%
