of Roldanillo and in 1763 as a
territory belonging to the jurisdiction of Cali , under the name Palomino; in
the year of 1852 is part of the District of Buenaventura . In 1854 no longer
Head of District and becomes Huasano. In 1882 the Ordinance No 14 issued in
Tulua ordered him to be part of the area population header District, becoming
head of the same Riofrio. However Ordinance No 42 of the same year, issued by
the Assembly of Cauca declares Riofrio as judges of the District Huasano. In
1911 the Ordinance No 16 of 21 March 1912 and repealed the previous Huasano
gave the head of District. According to Ordinance No 32 of 14 April 1914 it was
segregated Riofrio Huasano finally Ordinance No 31 of 28 April 1923 created the
municipality of Riofrio.
