Altos del Rosario is one of the 46 municipalities
of the department of Bolivar on the Caribbean Region of Colombia. It is part of
the catchment area of the municipality of Mompox .Bordered
to the north and east with the municipality of Barranco de Loba , west to the
town of Bolivar and south with the municipality of Tiquisio .
