Koboko is a town in Northern Uganda. It is the main municipal,
administrative and commercial center of Koboko District. The district is named
after the town. Koboko is also the hometown of the now-deceased former
dictator, Idi Amin Dada (1925 - 2003), who ruled Uganda between 1971 and 1979
