Jurgów is a small village (c. 900 inhabitants) in the Spisz region of
southern Poland, near the border with Slovakia and the town of Bukowina
Tatrzańska, on the Białka river. It used to be a part of Slovakia. It lies
approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) east of Bukowina Tatrzańska, 15 km
(9 mi) north-east of Zakopane, and 81 km (50 mi) south of the
regional capital Kraków
