Gedi Gede , or Kilimani is a village in the district of Malindi , on the coast Kenyan . Its population is about 600 .
It was a city-state of Swahili culture , south of Malindi and north of Watamu . The term means Gede Precious in Galla. This name must have been given to the city after the last leaders Galla has abandoned the city XVI th century
