Greater Noida is a 100,000 citizen strong census town located in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It comes under the purview of National Capital Region (NCR) of India. It is located 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the south-east of New Delhi and 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-east of Noida, one of the largest industrial townships of Asia.
The development of Greater Noida is managed by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). Greater Noida is a fast growing region, and is connected with Agra by the 6 lane Yamuna Expressway. The construction of the 5th Night Safari in the world, which will showcase the wildlife in night, is under progress. The other 4 Night Safari are in China, Singapore, Thailandand Malaysia. The annual Indian Grand Prix is held at the Buddh International Circuit which has helped putting the city firmly on the global map
