Zarzal is a municipality located
in the north of the department of Valle del Cauca , south-western
Colombia. It has a population of about 44.310 inhabitants to. Its
economy is based on the extensive cultivation of sugarcane. It is also to
highlight the growth of small businesses in the sector metal . Equally
important is his big commercial push, as there are in the town lot of stores
selling staple products. There is also a market square, which serves as a
reference for several surrounding municipalities.
