Villa Caro is a municipality in Norte
de Santander in Colombia . It has 5412 inhabitants, is
located at a height of 1,600 meters above sea level in the central region and
its economy is agriculture and livestock. A large part of the county (more
than 8000 hectares) is part of Paramo Santurbán , river water source
for Sardianta and Norte de Santander and Santander in general
