Nunchía is a municipality located in eastern
Colombia, in the department of Casanare. It is
located in the vicinity of the Llanos foothills, on the eastern slope of the
Andes. Its jurisdiction covers an area of 1171
km ² and a population of 8482 inhabitants.
It is some 52 km from Yopal , and Bogotá to 388 km
