Achi is one of the 46 municipalities of the department of Bolivar on the Caribbean region of Colombia. The capital is located on the left bank of the Cauca River, near the border with the Department of Sucre, in the call momposina Depression .

Achi Township borders the municipality of Magangué north, the municipalities of Pinillos and Tiquisio east; Montecristo and San Jacinto del Cauca to the south, and the department of Sucre on the west by the municipalities of Majagual and Guaranda (Colombia)
