Pilar is a third class municipality in the province of Bataan,
Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 39,787
people. The historic Mount Samat (Dambana ng Kagitingan) is found in Barangay
Diwa, Pilar. The Bataan Government Center is also located in Pilar in Barangay
