The Tassili National Park is located in southern Algeria in the mountains of Tassili n'Ajjer . This is one of the largest national parks in the world. It covers 7.2 million ha , and it is the first park of its size Algeria. It is rated for 1982 World Heritage by the UNESCO Man and Reserve and Biosphere since 1986. It is, by the number of engravings called the Oued Djerat it houses the first site in the world.
